Axis - Mount Snowdon Climb

Registration is closed for this event

Make a dream come true by joining Zach & Ruben Wheeler who have been diagnosed with Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T) as they attempt to reach the summit of Mount Snowdon in their adapted wheelchairs.  The boys are nine years old, use a wheelchair for mobility and need your help to make this dream become a reality.  Join either "Team Zach" or "Team Ruben" as each team of 20 push, pull, climb and carry each wheelchair to the highest point in Wales while helping to raise money to help find a cure for A-T.

Each team member will have the opportunity to push, pull or carry the boys in their adapted wheelchairs but we are also happy for entrants to pitch in where they can or simply walk along side offering encouragment.

The trail follows the long winding Llanberis route to the summit at 1,085m (3,560ft) where you will be able to admire the breath-taking views of the Snowdonia National Park at your feet with Anglesey and the Irish Sea in the distance.  A team of experienced mountain guides will be with you every step of the way, however a good level of fitness with prior training is required to take part in this challenge and is sure to get your legs burning and be a day to remember.
